I, Meghan Haber, one of the Event Organizers, have battled with my health for over 12 years now.  I suffered from very rare symptoms to very common ones.  I would loose my vision completely or it would go blurry infrequently along with chronic stomach problems.  I would get mouth ulcers that were uncontrollable and were very frequent and severe.  I would also suffer from mild to severe joint pain.  After loosing my vision completely in my left eye, I started to have my eye sight compromised in the right eye.  During the tenth year of the 'battle', I, my husband and my mother flew to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. It was there that I was diagnosed with Behcets Disease.  After coming home, I was and am still followed by a Rhuematologist. Who then discovered that I had a form of arthritis in my back and hips known as Ankylosing Spondylitis.  Being on a treatment plan along with a complete diet change for almost 3 years, I am now on an uphill improvement.  :)
